The Queen
The Queen
What is your relationship with power?
What is your relationship with power?
A true Queen knows that her power does not come from her throne. Her power is her birthright.

So how can the Queen archetype help us here?
I had to pull a second card, because this archetype is so rich I wanted to focus on one aspect. I pulled THE CASTLE card.
The Queen can be the embodiment of grace and stillness or the complete opposite: self-righteous wrath and pure power trip.
The Queen's power is her birthright, but to be a great ruler, she must learn how to trust herself, how to be a leader, how to use her resources wisely and ask for what she needs/wants.
The Castle represents our riches, our power...but also the ways in which we isolate ourselves.
Reflect on the cards:
- If your inner world (your thoughts, emotions, beliefs...) is your castle, which parts are surrounded by a fortress? Which parts are locked away in a tower (or dungeon)?
- How do you feel about your throne? Are you comfortable in your power, or are there parts that you feel you can only own with force?
- As a Queen, you deserve all the riches and luxuries! But watch out, when the Queen does not check her ego, she might be obsessed with having the most beautiful castle, no matter the cost. Remember that castles are built to separate and protect the Queen - you don't want to accidentally become a prisoner within your own castle walls. Is there a shiny object that you are chasing right now for the sake of status/recognition?
